‘Defend Europe’: The mission to rescue and send illegals from Libya back to Libya and to keep an eye on traitorous NGOs and Coastguards. Patriotic activists from the Identitarian movement have successfully raised enough funds through donations, and chartered a ship to fight illegal migration off the Libyan coast and to expose what they and Italian prosecutors describe as collaboration between European NGOs operating in the area and human traffickers and the mafia and EU.
A 40-meter-long ship called the C-Star, which was chartered by the group, set sail from the African port of Djibouti on July 6 and is expected to take the activists via the Sicilian port of Catania next week before reaching the relief zone of the Libyan coast.
The operation, called “Defend Europe,” is run by the pan-European Identitarian Movement – a vast network of patriotic, nativist and populist movements across several European countries, including France, Germany, Austria and Italy.
In this particular case, the French, German and Italian branches of the movement participated in the initiative that was launched as the activists managed to raise more than $ 93,000 in an online fundraiser campaign they launched in mid-May.
The fundraising campaign was successful, even despite the fact that the globalist online payment system Paypal froze the activists’ accounts after a massive opposition campaign, as reported by the France’s Liberation newspaper.
The funds were eventually used to lease the C-Star and its crew. On the campaign’s website, the group wrote that the goal of the mission was to “save Europe, to stop illegal immigration, and end the dying in the sea.”
They went on to say that, once they reach the relief zone off the Libyan coast, they will “document the doings of the NGOs, expose their collaboration with the human smugglers, and intervene if they do something illegal.”
The activists also pledged support to the Libyan Coast Guard by saying that their vessel could serve as a “recon ship.”
The Identitarians also branded their initiative as a “search and rescue mission” and said that if they get a SOS signal they will “of course save the people in distress – and hand them over to the Libyan Coast Guard to make sure that they are brought to the closest harbour, according to international law.”
They further said that their “’No Way’ policy for illegal immigration will discourage human traffickers and NGOs to lure people into the sea.”
The far-right activists also said that the activities of the NGOs operating off the Libyan coast and saving migrants trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Europe only stimulate human traffickers to send refugees and migrants to the sea in small overloaded and poorly equipped boats, thus exposing them to a greater risk.
The initiative has already provoked concerns among some NGOs engaged in sea rescue operations, and they have said that the arrival of the vessel charted by the Identitarians could disrupt their operations. The French authorities also criticized the move as a “provocation” and a “hindrance” to relief efforts, French media report, adding that the issue was already referred to a court.
The Identitarian movement is known for its staunch anti-immigrant position and protests against what it describes as “Islamization of Europe.” In one such action, the members of the Austrian branch of the movement covered a statue of the 18th-century Empress Maria Theresa in Vienna with a huge burqa in December 2016.
A sign reading “Islamization? No thanks!” was placed next to the statue.
In May, some 50 activists from the German branch of the Identitarian Movement attempted to “raid” the Justice Ministry building in Berlin using a 10-meter-long ladder in a protest against a proposed law designed to fight hate speech on social media.

Goal of The Mission:
We want to start an identitarian search-and-rescue (SAR) mission in July on the Libyan coast. Our goal is to document the doings of the NGOs, expose their collaboration with the human smugglers, and intervene if they do something illegal.
We will reach out to the Libyan Coast Guard and offer them our help as a recon ship. Our goal is to step in where our politicians are failing and to do what is necessary to stop the deadly illegal migration into Europe.
If we get an SOS signal, we will of course save the people in distress — and hand them over to the Libyan Coast Guard to make sure that they are brought to the closest harbour, according to international law. We will not enter territorial waters without their permission!
Defend Europe will make the Mediterrenean Sea more safe. An additional ship is able to answer SOS calls and our “No Way” policy for illegal immigration will discourage human traffickers and NGOs to lure people into the sea.
The closing of the Mediterranean route is the only way to Defend Europe and save lives. The only way to get Defend Europe started is with your help!
Every week, every day, every hour – ships packed with illegal immigrants are flooding into European waters. This massive illegal migration is changing the face of our continent. We are losing our safety and our way of life and there is a danger that we Europeans will become a minority in our own European homelands. Our future is under attack.
The human traffickers in Libya now expect the migrants to be picked up by NGOs after 12 nautical miles (about 45 minutes of travel) and therefore overpack the small boats and send them to the sea without provisions and a sufficient amount of fuel. By picking up the migrants closer and closer to the Libyan coast, the NGOs are working in concert with those criminals.
The pickup of migrants on the Libyan coast is a “pull factor”, meaning more and more migrants subscribe to the the illusion that the passage to Europe is safe, and risk the crossing. The smugglers use more unsuitable boats and put twice as many migrants on one boat as they they did the year before. Therefore one out of 37 people died during the crossing in 2017 despite of the NGOs, compared to one out of 136 in 2016.
The senior Libyan Coast Guard official Tarek Shanboor said that he had evidence that NGOs were stumping up cash for migrants desperate to reach Europe but who cannot afford to pay traffickers. They pay up to 450€ per illegal. He makes it clear: “The non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are adding to the crisis by actively encouraging increasing numbers of migrants.”
Mass immigration via the route through the Balkans in the years of 2015 and 2016 showed that our politicians don’t react until criticism from the people cannot be ignored anymore. The negligent hesitancy of those responsible has cost lots of human lives and led to events like Cologne and Bataclan.
This time the state has to react faster and close this new route of mass immigration. In order to accelerate this process we need to raise awareness to the situation and confront the NGOs on the sea. The immigration lobby is funded to the tune of hundreds of thousands of euros by governments and large donors. With our action in Catania we already have shown, that we are ready to act.
We have a crew and a plan. Now we need your help to defend Europe and save lives!
We already have a crew, a plan, and a captain. We were also able to raise the necessary money for flights, mooring costs, accommodation, material, etc. But the most important thing is: we have a sea-going ship.
- a range of 3000 nautical miles
- room for a crew of 25
- a crane for RIBs
It is the perfect fit for our identitarian SAR mission.
With daily costs, for the crew, fuel, etc. at about $3000, we need $80,000 in order to raise the money, bring the ship into the target area, and finance the first mission.
The biggest problem now is, that our ship is not on the Mediterranean sea. It needs to be transferred from a different ocean, which comes with enormous costs. The lying mainstream media smeared our movement and our mission and pressured the banks to close all our accounts across Europe. They want to do everything in their power to stop our ship from reaching the Mediterranean sea.
We don’t have their power and their money. We have no newspapers, government money, or Soros funds. We only have you.
We need you to bring our ship into the mediterranean and make Defend Europe possible!
